A large complex, the wher stables boast a thriving population of wherhandlers. Wher eggs are often used for barter or trade.

Orro sits on top of an enormous mine complex, which burrows into the mountain and has several external outposts. Iron ore is found here. In other areas, firestone and other phosphine minerals are mined.

Because Orro often sees dragonriding visitors from Montane Wing, they have a handful of weyrs and associated apartments to house draconic visitors.

The city has a large series of granaries and storehouses for the food it grows. An active vintner's and distillery produces a variety of excellent alcoholic drinks.
