Where do you stand?
Do you side with the North...
The Northern dragonriders may be idiots, but they're still dragonriders -- not to mention the hundreds of thousands of people that are going to be at risk when Thread comes. You think that they still deserve the aid of the coalition when Thread returns to Pern.
...or with the South?
The Northerners threw out their chance for help when they attacked and killed coalition riders. You think that they deserve what's coming to them by their own stupidity, brutality, and rash actions. It's time for the coalition to focus on protecting its new home, South Run.
And where do we go from here?
Do you believe Pern needs a scientific future?
You side with Siobhan and Lyraneth at South Run Weyr. In order to have enough healthy dragons in the long run, it's time to start getting scientific about breeding and reproduction. We can breed traits in mammals, why not draconids? You think that, in the long run, the best thing to do is focus on breeding the fittest draconids. Allying with the Southern rogues seems like the best course of action.
Do you believe that military action is the future?
You think that Aryna and Ejjarth have it right: They attacked first, and it's foolish to be unprepared. It's time to learn how to fight, and fight well -- both against Thread and dragonkind. An alliance with the pirates seems prudent, and if the Southern rogues dare to strike, you think the Weyr will be strong enough to defeat them. The best way to survive the future is to be the mightiest.
Is it time to focus on tradition?
P'skel and Relpath have it right: It's time to take it slow, return to the basics, and exercise caution moving forward. Whether or not the coalition riders are going to be capable of helping the North or even of protecting themselves has everything to do with whether or not they take foolish risks and endanger themselves. It's better to play it safe, use the tools and traditions which have worked before, and keep hidden for now.
Will technology and craft be the savior?
The three calderas are all focusing on the wrong issues. You know that the best thing to do right now is to progress in technology and learning, in order to figure out better ways to survive and protect the planet. You want to join with the mountain city Orro and rebuild society. It's time to stop living in the past and prepare for the future.
